Emerson Network Power Wins Majority Share in Shanghai EXPO Park’s Equipment Room Project
Shanghai China, March 24, 2010 – Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson (NYSE: EMR) and the global leader in enabling Business-Critical ContinuityTM, became the largest power equipment supplier in the Shanghai World Expo Park, supplying over 90% of power equipments for the equipment rooms and won 100% share in those constructed by China Telecom. This was another big win by Emerson Network Power owe to its excellent technology, solutions and brand image.
Expo 2010 Shanghai, as a large-scale international expo, has extremely high requirements on power equipments which are mainly used in equipment rooms and other core systems in Shanghai World Expo Park, to guarantee the stable and reliable operation of critical loads. Failure of any system will cause a crucial impact on the Expo, and result in unquantifiable loss, so the power platform supporting the information systems and equipment rooms is given a high priority in the construction of the project.
